Braided basalt sleeves and woven basalt tapes are ideal for exhaust applications with temperatures exceeding fiberglass capabilities, up to 1382°F (750°C). They offer increased resistance to abrasion, road salt, and moisture exposure. Silicone-coated fiberglass firesleeves and tapes provide constant radiant heat protection up to 500°F (260°C). Our firesleeves with hook and loop closures ensure easy installation and excellent heat protection for installed tubes, wiring, and hoses. Regular, uncoated fiberglass products can be used alongside silicone-coated and impregnated cloths to enhance insulating properties.
